The episode opens with the Tom and B'Elanna getting married and planning their honeymoon. Soon, things start to go badly wrong. All the crew on Voyager and the ship itself is getting degraded by the radiation emanating from their new warp engine. The situation is dire and the reason for it is quite a surprise and not just to the audience. The idea is superb but the execution lets it down at the very end with a major plot inconsistency to needlessly enhance the melodrama, preventing it from a 5 star rating.
